How it works

Our online virtual tutoring works the same as a real-life class environment where students have a face-to-face tutor; but the only difference is it is done completely online.

Our tutors will tailor make your lessons based on your needs & core objectives (as discussed with your parents), teach your lesson at a time that suits the student and provide regular reports to your parents on your progression.

We offer both one-to-one tutoring as well as up to 5 students in our online virtual classroom. Most parents are looking for a more personalised tutoring service that focusses on each individual’s needs; however, if you are looking to make online tutoring more affordable and have a number of students in your family or group of students then we can tailor make the classes so that each of them progress in their subject(s) and attain the best learning to achieve their grades.

How are virtual classes setup?

We use both Skype and Zoom for our virtual classes depending on the number of students participating. Students will be required to have either a laptop with the software installed or a mobile or tablet device with the app installed. Once you have signed up with A1 Tutoring the assigned tutor will send instructions with a link to the virtual classroom via a ZOOM or Skype link.

During your virtual class the online tutor will use both video chat and interactive whiteboard to conduct lessons. Each session will be carefully planned to plug the gaps and provide the necessary support for students struggling in one or more subjects.

The main reasons parents choose online tutoring is to help their child achieve the best grades in GCSE or A-Levels, improve learning abilities, accelerate progress faster and master exam techniques. By building confidence in each subject and developing core learning abilities will help them succeed in every exam.

Zoom Virtual Classes with Whiteboard

Zoom Whiteboard provides an interactive and intuitive way to conduct our virtual online classes. Both the student and tutor can help you brainstorm and collaborate on a persistent, expandable, digital canvas depending on the subject matter.

In larger virtual classrooms all the students participating can ideate from Zoom-enabled devices, and collaborate to make the online learning more fun and participate in improved learning for the collective group.
